MORE THAN BREAD
A story of family, faith, and gathering around the table.
"What began on a pull-out bread board in Grandma's kitchen has become a place where people come to slow down, connect, and share a meal together."
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Long before there was a bakery, there was a little kitchen next door.
Growing up, I spent countless afternoons at my grandparents' house. My grandma loved to bake, and whenever I walked through her door she would ask, "What do you want to make today?" Together we'd pull out her recipe box, gather ingredients, and work side-by-side on a simple wooden bread board that slid out from beneath the counter.
Those moments shaped far more than my love for baking.
Watch our story to learn more about how it all began and what keeps us going.
"Before the doors open"“Some of my favorite moments happen long before the bakery fills with people.
In the early morning hours, when the world is still quiet, the kitchen becomes a place of focus, gratitude, and creation. The dough moves from sticky and unfinished to smooth and full of possibility beneath my hands.
There’s something special about working with simple ingredients and time-tested methods. Every loaf is shaped by hand. Every batch is made with care. Every day begins with the same goal: creating something meaningful for someone else to enjoy.
It’s not just about making bread.
It’s about creating something that brings people together.”
COMING HOME
When people walk through our doors, we hope they feel something familiar.
Maybe it's the smell of fresh bread in the oven.
Maybe it's a memory of baking with a parent or grandparent.
Maybe it's simply the feeling of being welcomed.
In a busy and noisy world, we want The Bread Board to feel like a place where you can slow down, rest, and enjoy a meal with people you love.
Because some of life's best conversations happen around a table.
And some of life's best memories begin by breaking bread together.
